Split across John and Barbara’s houses, the Christmas festivities started on Christmas Eve with a veggie shepherds pie at Barbara’s, followed by a wander around East Haddon on a scavenger hunt that finished at the Rad Lion. Soup in the evening finished the day.
Christmas morning started at Barbara’s house with John and Debs hosting Christmas lunch with all the trimmings (and desserts). The King’s speech and presents followed at Beech House. Richard hosted his usual brain-teaser games before a picky tea or cheese, biscuits and sausage rolls.
Boxing Day followed the same theme with the Coppells with a sausage roll and cheese lunch followed by an epic 2nd Christmas dinner cooked by Alina. More drinks and games finished the festivities.
