For months and months, the Ravensthorpe Coopers (along with our Playing Field Committee) planned, planned, then set up a mammoth beer festival for the local villagers. 14 initial kegs of local ale were ordered with a further four being drafted in on the night as supplies dried up.
Music from three local bands set the atmosphere with face paints and bouncy castles entertaining the little ones.
We made roughly £5k in profit that will go towards the upkeep of the playing fields and provide extra equipment for the play area.
